ABOUT ME
Jennifer Whitmire is on a mission to save body parts!
Jen knew she had a passion for food, health, and fitness at an early age but didn’t know how to put that into practice. After a scary diagnosis in her mid 30s, she knew she wasn’t following her purpose. Jen and her husband quit their jobs, moved to the country, and started a farm where they grow beautiful produce and teach people how to use food for health.
Jen discovered she had a passion for health and understanding illnesses in her twenties when two people close to her were diagnosed with very scary illnesses. She went back to school to earn her masters in health science in the 90’s but knew that a hospital or gym setting were not right for her. She took various classes in health, nutrition, culinary arts, and herbs to continue learning while taking odd jobs and trying to figure out how she could reach people who need her.
Jen LOVES working with clients to discover their individual needs. She partners with her clients to dig into their health history and look at a their genetic tendencies and their current lifestyle, labs, and exposures to really get to the root. Her clients know that they are the only ones responsible for their health and they can take control of it. Her clients create actionable steps in a manner that is manageable for their current situation where they don’t feel overwhelmed but still see results quickly.
After 25+ years of studying nutrition, herbs, and foods, in 2017, Jen began teaching cooking classes and coaching clients, and she absolutely LOVES what she is doing as she lives out her passion every day. Jen is a master herbalist, board certified health educator (CHES), and a nutritional endocrinology practitioner and coach.
